MilbeMite Otic Solution for Cats, 0.25 mL, 2 Doses

INDICATIONS:
MilbeMite Otic Solution (0.1% milbemycin oxime) is indicated for treatment of ear mite (Otodectes cynotis) infestations in cats and kittens four weeks of age and older. Effectiveness is maintained throughout the life cycle of the ear mite.

FOR USE IN CATS & KITTENS FOUR WEEKS OF AGE AND OLDER. The safe use of MilbeMite Otic Solution in cats used for breeding purposes, during pregnancy, or in lactating queens, has not been evaluated. No adverse reactions caused by MilbeMite Otic Solution have been reported in controlled effectiveness studies in adult cats and kittens (4 weeks of age). Usage
MilbeMite Otic Solution should be administered as directed by your veterinarian. Please consult your veterinarian before making any changes or discontinuing the prescribed dosing schedule. If you have questions about your pet’s prescribed dosing schedule (e.g., timing, interval), please contact your veterinarian.

Manufacturer Directions for Use*
MILBEMITE OTIC Solution should be administered as one tube per ear as a single treatment. Each foil pouch contains two tubes of solution, one for each ear. Open the tube by pressing cap down firmly to break seal. Remove cap and check to be sure tip of tube is open. Squeeze the tube to administer the contents of one tube into each external ear canal. Massage the base of the ear for optimal distribution.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place at a controlled room temperature between 59° and 77°F. Keep this and all other medications in a secure location out of the reach of children and animals.
Exposure to extreme temperatures, light, or moisture can affect the integrity and effectiveness of medications. Always store this medication properly (e.g., away from the bathroom, kitchen sink, or other damp places), as outlined on the product label.

Please discontinue use and contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any persistent or concerning side effects, or if you notice anything unusual.

Precautions
Before using this product, please review the manufacturer’s full Prescribing Information for any relevant warnings and safety precautions.
For otic use in cats & kittens (four weeks of age and older) only.
Not for human use. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children and animals.
Do not administer this medication to animals with a known or suspected allergy/hypersensitivity to it or any of its ingredients. Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Please inform Vetsource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known sensitivities or allergies, especially to medications and supplements.
If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, discontinue therapy and call your veterinarian immediately or seek emergency veterinary attention. Symptoms may include (but are not limited to): swollen lips, tongue, face, or airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; and widespread hives or itching.

Drug and food interactions
While there are no specific drug or food interactions reported for this product, potential interactions may still be possible. As with all medications, please consult your veterinarian if you have any questions or concerns prior to use. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when multiple medications and/or supplements are given together.

Please ensure your veterinarian is aware of all medications, supplements, and over-the-counter (OTC) products that your pet is currently using. Your veterinarian may prescribe multiple medications, even if a potential drug interaction may occur. In these instances, your veterinarian may adjust the dosages or monitor your pet more closely.
